Champions League betting: Real Madrid shade favouritism

A superb Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick gave Real a commanding 3-0 victory over their Madrid rivals Atletico at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night and they are now 1/66 to qualify.

Juventus also have more than one foot in Cardiff having claimed a 2-0 victory away at Monaco on Wednesday night and it's now been over 600 minutes of Champions League football since they last conceded a goal in the competition.

Real Madrid are 4/5 to lift the trophy while the Turin giants can be backed at 11/10. Atletico and Monaco are 40/1 and 50/1 respectively.

In the Europa League, Ajax are second favourites behind Manchester United at 9/4 after thrashing Lyon 4-1 in the first leg of their semi-final on Wednesday night.

United are 8/11 as they prepare to visit Celta Vigo, who are priced at 6/1 to lift the trophy. Lyon are now 14/1.
