We look at the contenders to be the next Everton manager following Ronald Koeman's sacking.
The Dutchman has been removed of his position after 16 months, paying the price for dropping into the relegation places after Super Sunday's 5-2 defeat to Arsenal with eight points from their first nine games.
Expectations were raised going in the season after a £150m of summer spending, although they did lose leading goalscorer to Romelu Lukaku and have faced five of last season's top six already.
Here's who Sky Bet consider the favourites to be the next Everton manager...
Sean Dyche (15/8 with Sky Bet)
The Burnley manager has been the early mover in the betting, backed in from 8/1 to favourite following Koeman's departure. Dyche is reportedly open to new opportunities after leading Burnley to promotion and then comfortably keeping them in the Premier League last season. Everton and their financial backing, led by investor Farhad Moshiri, is likely to serve as an ideal project for the 46-year-old, despite the Clarets currently sitting 10 places higher in the Premier League table.
Sam Allardyce (10/1 with Sky Bet)
As per standard procedure when a club in the Premier League relegation zone sack their manager, Allardyce is considered in the reckoning to take charge. The serial ship steadier was recently linked to the Leicester vacancy but quickly dismissed such suggestions, insisting the timing was now right. Less than a week on and he's second favourite for the Everton job, with Sky Bet reporting interest in the former England boss prompting his price to come in from 9/1.
David Unsworth (9/2 with Sky Bet)
The Everton legend and current Under-23s manager has been handed the role of caretaker following Koeman's sacking. As a defender Unsworth made 314 appearances during two spells at Goodison Park, while he has returned to manage the second team following coaching spells at Preston and Sheffield United. He took the reins with the assistance of Joe Royle after Roberto Martinez's departure, leading the Toffees to a 3-0 victory over Norwich, before returning to manage the U23s when Koeman was appointed.
David Moyes (7/1 with Sky Bet)
If Everton are looking for stability then they might be looking towards David Moyes, who enjoyed over a decade of relative successive at the club. However, after troubling spells at Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland, it remains to be seen if he would be a popular reappointment. Moyes is also currently the even-money favourite to be the next Scotland manager following Gordon Strachan's departure.
Other options
All other candidates are 12/1 or bigger, including Carlo Ancelotti, who was recently relieved of his duties at Bayern Munich, and ex-Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel. Former Toffees midfielder and Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta is the same price along with former and current Watford bosses Walter Mazzarri and Marco Silva.
