India avoided a one-day international series whitewash with a final-over victory over Australia in Canberra.
Last-wicket pair Adam Zampa and Josh Hazlewood needed 15 off the last six balls to reach their target of 303, but Zampa was trapped in front by Jasprit Bumrah to give India victory by 13 runs.
Bumrah had also removed danger man Glenn Maxwell, who was threatening to guide Australia home until he fell for 59.
Earlier, after Virat Kohli went for 63, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja nearly doubled India’s 32-over score of 152 for five.
Pandya finished on 92 not out off 76 balls, while Jadeja was unbeaten on 66.
Australia had already wrapped up the series with two wins in Sydney.
