Warrington youngster Will Dagger has been given the all-clear to return to training after suffering a neck injury in Saturday's loss at Wakefield.
The 18-year-old was taken to hospital after being carried off on a stretcher with his neck in a brace in the second half of the 26-12 Betfred Super League defeat at the Beaumont Legal Stadium.
Checks have come back clear and Dagger, who has made four senior appearances for the Wolves, could be back in contention for Friday's clash with Leigh.
Coach Tony Smith said: "He is fine. We thought he would be but he did have a little scare regarding his neck.
"The physio did exactly what was necessary and took every precaution but he was checked out and deemed to be fine. He is fine and is back in training.
"We will check him out this week but there is a strong possibility he will be available (on Friday)."
In further positive news for the Wolves, forward Ben Westwood could return after six weeks out with a broken hand.
New Australian signing Ben Pomeroy could make his debut after overcoming a knee injury and backs Tom Lineham and Dec Patton are also hoping to prove their fitness.
Ben Currie and Matty Russell might be available again within a fortnight.
