Honourable Gent has had a bit of a stop-start career but can make up for a bit of lost time by landing the Mackie's Summer Sundaes Handicap Chase at Perth.

The 10-year-old has had only 22 outings to date, with three notably lengthy absences impacting on his chance to really make his mark.

Off the track for 426 days before his last run, Honourable Gent showed his troubles have not impaired his ability, as he shook off a jumping error and dug deep to win by a neck at this track last month.

That took his tally to three wins in his last three starts and four victories in seven starts over fences overall, so clearly he has plenty of talent and just needs to avoid any 'bounce' factor now.

A 3lb hike for his return win seems reasonable and Rose Davidson's runner may still be ahead of the handicapper.

Return Flight has dropped down the handicap a touch and can take full advantage in the Fonab Castle And Spa Handicap Chase.

He lines up on a mark of 117 here - the same rating from which he recorded his most recent victory at Uttoxeter back in 2016.

He has struggled to recapture that winning form, but now with Rebecca Menzies, he has been showing a bit more dash.

Dan Skelton can be in the money at Stratford as Red Tornado holds very chance in the Mid Warwickshire Cleaning & Charles Peters Recruitment Handicap Hurdle.

A true good ground performer, he shaped with promise when second in a competitive event at Newton Abbot last time and a 1lb rise might not be enough to hinder him.

Angel Of Harlem was a comfortable winner on her first start for Olly Murphy and can maintain that 100 per cent record in Southwell's Nottingham City Transport Handicap Hurdle.

She failed to show much in five starts for Mark Bradstock but tried on quicker ground, she found the winning groove and came home seven lengths clear at Market Rasen in a conditional jockeys' heat last Sunday.

Angel Of Harlem races off the same mark and the presence of champion jockey Richard Johnson in the plate surely indicates connections mean business once again.
