Hwang Inn-choon and Jang Dong-kyu have secured their places at Royal Portrush via the KOLON Korea Open, the seventh event in the Open Qualifying Series.

Hwang finished a shot behind winner Jazz Janewattananond, who was already exempt for the final major of the year along with third-placed Chan Kim.

Jang finished in a tie for fourth with fellow Korean Minjoon Kim and claimed the second qualifying place for Portrush by virtue of his higher world ranking.

Five more added

Later on Sunday, five more players were added to the field via the Race To Dubai.

Robert MacIntyre, David Lipsky, Kurt Kitayama, Richard Sterne and Erik van Rooyen all qualified thanks to strong starts to the season as the field at Portrush continues to expand.
