Verdict

Another very tricky race. As a 3yo the reliable JAMES STREET undoubtedly has potential for further improvement and should make the majority of shortlists competing off bottom-weight. At the other end of the handicap sits the 5yo Gulliver who has also been keeping solid form recently, including when finishing second off this mark in a similar Class 2 contest at Kempton in December. Wetherby handler Richard Guest is doubly-represented with the trail-blazing Exchequer the obvious pick of his pair, whilst others with fair claims include the improving Shamshon and the 7f Newcastle scorer Sanaadh.

  2. Gulliver
  3. Exchequer
