Verdict

Not too many to consider for the gold medal here and the improving THE CANNISTER MAN could be the one. He caught the eye at Southwell two starts ago and built on that at Fontwell where he caught a bit of a tartar in the useful Euxton Lane (who was far from disgraced in a Grade 1 at Aintree at the weekend). L'Auberge Du Bois is another going the right way and should give the selection most to do, with Ballymagroarty Boy and Lough Ryn looking the most likely to fight out the minor money.
