Verdict

This stiffer test of stamina looks likely to suit BRIGHT NEW DAWN more than the trip over he was beaten by Grey Gold when contesting a handicap chase at Sandown earlier this month. The selections trainer took this event last year and he's run well in two starts so far for the yard and looks a classy recruit for them from a leading Irish stable. Third place can go the way of Bold Henry who was fourth in the above race and who's trainers horses are going well at present. 1. Bright New Dawn 2. Grey Gold 3. Bold Henry
