Jack's Revenge has been contesting tough handicaps in Ireland and should figure with a repeat of his recent second at Galway. But the progressive GENIUS BOY (NAP) is fancied to regain winning ways given he had little chance in a Group 3 at Salisbury last time but had rattled-up a four-timer before that. I'm Back hasn't raced since Meydan in January and End Of Line disappointed when favourite in Listed company at Sandown back in May. Fury looks a bit stuck off his current mark but George Cinq won at Ascot under Louis Steward last month and should go well again.
George Cinq 6-1 (9-7) Slowly into stride, held up last, headway looking for room when switched sharply right over 2f out, stayed on inside final furlong, went 3rd final 100 yards, unable to challenge, 3rd of 11, 3 1/2l behind Angelic Upstart (8-9) at Goodwood 1m 1f app hcp 0-90 (3) gf in Jul.
Tellovoi (IRE) 11-1 (9-9) Slowly into stride, in rear, driven over 2f out, soon ridden, stayed on same pace final furlong, never near leaders, 7th of 10, 8l behind Compton Park (9-4) at Pontefract 6f hcp 0-90 (3) gf in Jul.
Fury 6-1 (9-2) Raced centre in rear, ridden 3f out, headway under pressure over 1f out, kept on same pace final furlong, 4th of 11, 4l behind Balty Boys (9-7) at Newmarket 1m hcp 105 (2) gf in Jul.
Starboard 33-1 (8-11) Always towards rear, 14th of 16, 18l behind Farraaj (9-11) at York 1m 2f hcp (2) gf in Jul.
End of Line 15-8fav (9-0) Raced wide keen close up, ridden and raced awkwardly over 2f out, kept on same pace inside final furlong, 3rd of 5, 9l behind Master Carpenter (9-0) at Sandown 1m 3yo lst stk (1) sft in May.
Jack's Revenge (IRE) 9-2 (9-6) Dwelt, held up in rear, 8th over 2f out, progress on outer into straight, chased leaders under 1f out, stayed on well inside final furlong, not quite get to winner,, 2nd of 9, 1/2l behind Baraweez (9-2) at Galway 7f hcp.
Verse Of Love 25-1 (9-1) Slowly into stride, midfield, under pressure over 2f out, stayed on well closing stages, never nearer, 5th of 13, 8l behind Apostle (9-7) at Chester 1m hcp 0-95 (3) gs.
Gworn 20-1 (8-7) Always towards rear, finished 17th, placed 16th, 16th of 18, 26l behind Sennockian Star (9-6) at Goodwood 1m 2f hcp (2) gd in Jul.
Genius Boy 12-1 (9-0) Tracked leading pair, pushed along 3f out, ridden and starting to lose place when badly squeezed out over 1f out, soon beaten, last of 7, 11l behind Captain Cat (9-0) at Salisbury 1m Grp 3 (1) gf.
I'm Back (IRE) 5-1 (9-3) 12th of 14, 10l behind Roicead (9-6) at Meydan(UAE) 6f hcp std in Jan.
