SOLATENTIF came here for a bumper last month and was well supported, which was very much justified when he ran out an easy winner. He looks certain to make a smart hurdler, starting here. He'll need to be good as Pyromaniac has been in winning form on the Flat recently and has experience over timber having run reasonably at Tipperary last month. Tempo Mac showed major improvement from his debut with a much better effort in a big field at Roscommon but Streak, a winner on the Flat in the UK, has been disappointing so far for new connections.
Pyromaniac (IRE) 14-1 (10-13) In rear, rear of mid-division halfway, ridden after 2 out, no impression on leaders, 6th of 19, 18l behind Rich Coast (11-12) at Tipperary 2m mdn hdl in Jul.
Solatentif (FR) 4-1fav (11-2) Always prominent, improved to dispute lead 5f out, led entering straight, ridden clear 2f out, stayed on well under pressure, easily, won at Killarney 2m 1f 4yo NH flat gd in Jul beating Hurricane Darwin (11-7) by 8l, 12 ran.
Streak 100-1 (10-7) Rear of mid-division, weakened and detached 4 out, pulled up after 3 out, in a race won by Abbyssial (11-0) at Punchestown 2m 4yo hdl Grade 1 (1) in May, 13 ran.
Lady Aoife (IRE) 50-1 (10-8) Rear of mid-division, hampered 4f out, no threat from 3f out, tailed off, 22nd of 25, well behind Morning Run (11-9) at Punchestown 2m 1f mares n h flat in May.
Queen's Ballerina (IRE) 5-1 (10-10) Towards rear for most, ridden and no impression entering straight, 9th of 11, 14l behind Barnahash Rose (11-6) at Roscommon 2m mares n h flat gf in Jul.
Balkinstown (IRE) 25-1 (11-0) Chased leaders, 7th 3 out, no impression straight, 11th of 18, 22l behind Plinth (11-0) at Leopardstown 2m 3yo mdn hdl sft in Dec.
Kennady (IRE) 8-1 (11-3) Soon mid-division, closer in 6th approaching straight, no impression and one pace from under 3f out, 11th of 14, 26l behind Isaac Bell (11-7) at Cork 2m NH flat gd in Jul.
Zarafina (IRE) 33-1 (11-1) Held up, closer order in 9th 4f out, no impression and one pace approaching straight, 8th of 14, 21l behind Princely Conn (11-7) at Galway 2m NH flat gd in Jul.
Tempo Mac (IRE) 33-1 (11-2) Chased leaders, 3rd halfway, ridden in 7th after 4 out, under pressure in 6th 3 out, 4th and no impression last, kept on same pace run-in to go 3rd, 3rd of 17, 4 1/2l behind She's A Leader (11-5) at Roscommon 2m mdn hdl gd.
