In depth
Verdict
Tinshu bids to repeat last year's success and has every chance of doing so as he beat Emerald Wilderness over C&D on his latest start. True To Form is a similar type who usually runs his race at this track while Mawaakef's recent victory at Kempton is working out well and he has the beating of Layline on collateral form. Chapter Seven's three wins have been over shorter distances in slow ground and he has something to prove but veteran Japanese import Shadow Gate, a Group 1 winner in his heyday, popped up at 25/1 on his debut for current connections in a conditions race at Dundalk. The latter is not easily dismissed but the vote goes to another import in BE PERFECT. The winner of three of his five starts in France, he ran his best race to date for Marco Botti when runner-up at Kempton last month and this shorter trip will suit.
