In depth
Verdict
El Muqbil had the consistent Busker behind when runner-up to Lion Sands at the opening meeting and there appears no reason for the form to be reversed. Karma Chameleon was a long way behind but that was the four-times all-weather winner's first run here and much better is expected. Gobooll scored for William Haggas at Kempton last August and looks a nice recruit for the Selvaratnam yard as does Devdas, a winner for Clive Cox at Newmarket last year and now with Ernst Oertel, who has made a very good start to the Dubai racing season. PROFONDO ROSSO ran some good races over the C&D last season without quite managing to get there but with the experience under his belt he's taken to make a winning reappearance for his in-form connections.
