In depth
Verdict
A big field and inexperienced riders suggest this is not a race for maximum stakes. Most also arrive out of form but Tony Carroll saddles a couple of interesting runners with Ryan Hatch taking 3lb off Leicester second Crazy Bold and Patrick Corbett on MISSIONAIRE. The latter has been disappointing over hurdles and finished behind the likes of Drawn Free and Acapulco Bay in the past. But he enjoys a big turnaround in the weights with both and a possible fitness advantage having finished third on the Polytrack last month - we'll give him a tentative vote. Majestic Bull, Bay Central and last month's Plumpton scorer Goochypoochyprader are others to consider.
