In depth
Verdict
LORD OF TARA, runner-up in two point-to-points around this time last year, made his debut under Rules at Down Royal a couple of weeks ago and really caught the eye with a promising start. He'll have improved markedly for that and gets the nod ahead of Way Up In The Air, who hasn't been seen since a fine run in a big field here in May and could just need the outing. Thekingofconnemara wasn't fancied on his debut here last month but came from way behind to snatch second spot behind Elegant Statesman and has to be considered with improvement virtually guaranteed. Philip Fenton's newcomer Golden Eclipse is well worth a check in the market.
