THE RING IS KING (NAP) had been in good form on the Flat before gaining a comfortable victory over timber at Sligo. He's been raised 8lb but Kevin Sexton's claim takes care of most of that and a double looks on the cards. Dazzling Suzie is probably better over fences and further but Roman Numeral, who was in excellent form during the spring, might just have needed the run at Galway and should get into the frame. His stablemate King High won this last year and is just 2lb higher while Goal has won ten races in his career and he's been racing in slightly better company so has to be considered as he's dropped to his lowest mark for some time.
King High (IRE) 7-1 (11-3) Chased leaders, 5th halfway, ridden 3 out, no extra from next, 9th of 13, 29l behind Fethard Player (11-0) at Ballinrobe 2m 4f cond hcp hdl gd in Jun.

Roman Numeral (IRE) 16-1 (11-6) Soon chased leaders, closer in 6th before 2 out but pushed along, no impression and kept on one pace from before last, 8th of 20, 12l behind Beckwith Star (11-0) at Galway 2m hcp hdl 88-109 gd in Jul.
Fairy Court (IRE) 14-1 (11-5) Prominent, led before 2nd, soon marginal leader, not fluent 5th, joined 4 out, mistake 3 out and headed, dropped to 7th before straight, soon no extra and eased, 11th of 18, 22l behind In A Nutshell (11-4) at Limerick 2m 5f hcp hdl 80-116 gf in Jul.
