Verdict
Most of these mares look closely matched at the weights but Matrow's Lady has to go on the short-list as she won over 2m4f at Doncaster before only finding Sparkling Hand too good at Sedgefield. The four-year-old Annaluna handles heavy ground and has improved for the step up in distance but Wilde Ruby may struggle to recapture the winning thread off her current mark and it's impossible to have much faith in Dun See Dee. DIRTY DEAL's return to winning ways at Uttoxeter was unexpected and the handicapper has raised her 10lb since. But she's clearly in good heart, which you can't say about most of her rivals. Tony Carroll's nine-year-old gets the vote to follow up.
