Azrael popped up at a big price at Yarmouth last time and, with an apprentice negating a rise in the weights, he should make another bold. AVAILABLE is just preferred, however, as her defeat of a subsequent winner over track and trip looks stronger form and John Mackie's filly is fancied to follow up in what looks a less competitive affair. Gabrial's Gift was withdrawn at Chepstow last night having won over 6f at the same track last time but will stay the extra and the frustrating Caramack made it seven placed efforts in a row when second at Brighton last week. Bajan Bear also made the frame when third over track and trip on his return and looks best of the rest.
Azrael 20-1 (9-0) Overall leader made all, ridden over 2f out, stayed on, won at Yarmouth 7f hcp 0-80 (4) gf beating First Class (8-2) by 1/2l, 11 ran.

Otto The Great 25-1 (8-13) Led, ridden and headed 2f out, weakened final furlong, 13th of 15, 10l behind Mont Ras (9-7) at Haydock 1m hcp 0-90 (3) gd in May.
Gabrial's Gift (IRE) 4-1fav (9-4) Chased leaders, led 2f out, ridden over 1f out, kept on well, won at Chepstow 6f hcp 0-70 (5) gf beating Belle Bayardo (9-5) by 2l, 16 ran.
Caramack 15-8 (8-12) Led 1f, chased leader until halfway, chased leading pair, not much room briefly 2f out, stayed in centre course, ridden and hung left inside final furlong, went 2nd towards finish, 2nd of 8, 4l behind Bartack (9-3) at Brighton 1m mdn stks (5) fm.
Ewell Place (IRE) 25-1 (9-7) Chased leaders, ridden and every chance entering final furlong, weakened closing stages, 6th of 11, 2 1/2l behind West Leake Hare (8-3) at Catterick 7f hcp 0-80 (4) gf.

Reggae Star 3-1 (9-0) Tracked leader, ridden and weakened over 1f out, 6th of 7, 17l behind Regal Hawk (9-0) at Carlisle 1m 1f flls hcp 0-80 (4) gf.

Bajan Bear 8-1 (9-0) Dwelt, held up in rear, headway 2f out, switched right over 1f out, stayed on, 3rd of 12, 3l behind Creek Falcon (9-5) at Leicester 7f hcp 0-75 (5) gd.
