Verdict
On The Off Chance only beat one home when made favourite on her racecourse debut at Ffos Las and A P McCoy deserts her here in favour of SPRINGINHERSTEP. Nicky Henderson's mare easily won a Southwell bumper in July and has a jumping pedigree. Umadachar will be a real threat, however, as she had some very decent form in bumpers last season. Warren Greatrex's charge was placed in Listed contests at both Sandown and Aintree in the spring and she'll go close if translating that form to hurdles. Valrene's third at Ludlow was her best effort to date and she's preferred to As I Am and Go Annie of the others.
