Stonecrabstomorrow won a couple of minor events over the minimum trip at Brighton and was staying on stoutly there in a better race there next time. He should have a say in this as should Ray Of Joy, who has generally competed at a slightly higher level since scoring at Kempton in May. SEEK THE FAIR LAND hasn't won since February of last year but has run well enough on several occasions and his second to Ivory Silk at Newmarket last month sets the standard here. Aye Aye Digby gained his first success for two years in a Folkestone claimer and though this is tougher he looks to be back to the kind of form that would give him a chance.
Ray of Joy 7-2 (9-9) Took keen hold, hased leading trio on rail, switched right over 1f out, went 2nd inside final furlong, never able to challenge, 2nd of 7, 1 1/4l behind We Have A Dream (10-0) at Folkestone 6f hcp 0-85 (4) gd in Jun.
Yurituni 8-1 (9-9) Slowly into stride, always behind, 6th of 7, 9l behind Dreamacha (9-7) at Leicester 5f hcp 0-80 (4) gd in Jun.
Leadenhall Lass (IRE) 28-1 (8-2) Held up, ridden over 2f out, not trouble leaders, 8th of 12, 16l behind Free For All (9-5) at Lingfield 7f hcp 0-85 (4) gf in May.
Baldemar 14-1 (9-11) Chased leaders, every chance 2f out, hit on head by rival whip inside final 2f, weakened soon after, 12th of 13, 11l behind Ginger Ted (9-11) at Thirsk 6f hcp 0-85 (4) gd in Jun.
Perfect Pastime 10-1 (9-1) Held up in rear, ran on inside final furlong, never nearer, 5th of 8, 4 1/2l behind Barnet Fair (9-7) at Kempton 6f hcp 0-85 (4) pol in Jun.
Aye Aye Digby (IRE) 6-4fav (9-8) Chased leader, led 2f out, shaken up inside final furlong, ran on well, won at Folkestone 6f clm stks (6) gd in Jun beating Efistorm (9-0) by 1 1/2l, 6 ran.

Saucy Buck (IRE) 40-1 (9-5) Held up towards rear, effort and kept on final furlong, no impression, 7th of 11, 8l behind Apollo D'Negro (9-4) at Kempton 6f 3yo hcp 0-70 (5) pol in Apr.
