Verdict
Always Eager is dropped in class and stepped up in distance for his return to action and may well figure, but SAUCY CAT has the more recent form. She improved when third over C&D earlier this month on her first start over today's trip and Harvey Mason's 5lb claim could give her the edge in this contest. Chankillo has four lengths to find with the latter but didn't get the best of runs last time and should finish closer, but Captain Cardington and Excellent News have both failed to build on promising efforts at the end of last year. Complex won at Wolverhampton last month but has struggled off today's higher mark since then.
