Verdict
Castlerock Rose gained her only hurdling success in a maiden here last month and ran quite well in a handicap on a return visit. The Shoe Doctor looked as though he needed a longer trip when staying on over 2m7f at Fairyhouse but Western Man has been disappointing despite slipping down the weights. War did a bit better on heavy going at Tramore and has had a run on the all-weather subsequently but this looks destined for PONMEWORD. He's been chasing and scored here last month before slipping up at Tramore. He can race from a 9lb lower mark back over timber and with his young rider claiming 3lb this should be the day he loses his maiden tag over hurdles.
