Brownsea Brink rattled up a hat-trick on Turf before finishing fifth at Ascot last month. He has already won over this course and distance and has every chance of bouncing back. GEORGE GURU is fairly reliable and should be thereabouts again. He had recent course and distance winner Common Touch and Sir Reginald behind at Ayr in September and meets the former on much better terms so should confirm the form. Tarooq may still have too much weight but neither Favourite Treat nor Atlantis Crossing gave their true running last time and shouldn't be ignored. Loyalty finished just ahead of Clockmaker at Lingfield five days ago and there should be little between the pair again today.
Loyalty 33-1 (8-7) Led early, tracked leaders, ridden to chase winner over 1f out, kept on one pace, lost 2nd near finish, 3rd of 12, 1 3/4l behind Anaconda (9-8) at Lingfield 1m hcp (2) pol.
Clockmaker (IRE) 50-1 (9-7) Held up, ridden and headway over 1f out, kept on inside final furlong, nearest finish, 4th of 12, 2l behind Anaconda (9-8) at Lingfield 1m hcp (2) pol.
George Guru 16-1 (9-4) Reluctant to load in stalls, held up in mid-division, headway on outside over 2f out, went 2nd over 1f out until inside final furlong, stayed on same pace in 3rd, 3rd of 14, 4 1/2l behind Captain Cat (8-12) at Kempton 1m hcp 0-95 (3) pol in Oct.
Common Touch (IRE) 16-1 (9-3) Held up, ridden and headway 2f out, challenged inside final furlong, led towards finish, won at Kempton 7f hcp 0-95 (3) pol beating Chookie Royale (9-4) by nk, 10 ran.
Tarooq (USA) 10-1 (9-7) Chased leaders on inside, lost 3rd well over 1f out, ridden over 1f out, one pace and no impression when hung left inside final furlong, 5th of 12, 4l behind My Freedom (9-5) at Wolverhampton 7f 3yo hcp 0-105 (2) pol in Oct.
Sir Reginald 10-1 (9-4) Raced near side, chased leaders to halfway, weakened rapidly, tailed off, 26th of 27, 37l behind Breton Rock (9-4) at Ascot 7f (2) sft in Oct.
Brownsea Brink 9-2fav (9-4) Tracked leaders, ridden 2f out, kept on one pace, 5th of 13, 5l behind Consign (9-1) at Ascot 7f 3yo hcp 0-95 (3) sft in Oct.
Atlantis Crossing (IRE) 20-1 (9-2) Held up towards rear, some headway between horses 2f out, soon no further progress, 12th of 14, 10l behind Captain Cat (8-12) at Kempton 1m hcp 0-95 (3) pol in Oct.
Favourite Treat (USA) 10-1 (8-13) Chased leaders, weakened over 3f out, eased over 1f out, 19th of 20, well behind Levitate (9-1) at Doncaster 7f hcp 105 (2) sft.
