In depth
Verdict
ABSOLUTELY SO was a little keen on his debut at Newbury but was still less than a length behind winner Carry On Sidney. This looks less competitive and Andrew Balding's colt should recoup losses today if an outside draw doesn't prove too much of a disadvantage. After placed efforts at Newmarket and Windsor, Whipper Snapper took on decent opposition at Goodwood in July. He shouldn't be far away if a break has done him some good but Overrider weakened quickly at Windsor last month. Kohlaan represents powerful connections but has already been gelded and the well-bred filly Timeless Appeal is a more interesting newcomer.
