SWNYMOR would have won the Grade 1 Finale Hurdle at Chepstow last month had he not stepped at the final flight and crashed out. He suffered a slight injury in that mishap but is now recovered and should get back on course for the Festival by landing this. Aazif was second to Calculated Risk over course and distance on his hurdling debut and will know more today while Somemothersdohavem was runner-up to the more experienced Bordoni at Market Rasen and is another open to improvement. King of Dudes was well beaten at Ludlow last month, however, and Alan King also runs Flat winner Uriah Heep, who may prove the pick of the remainder.
Somemothersdohavem 12-1 (10-12) Tracked leader until not fluent 2nd, stayed handy, went 2nd again before 2 out, no impression on winner when not fluent last, stayed on same pace, 2nd of 11, 9l behind Bordoni (10-12) at Market Rasen 2m 1f 4yo mdn hdl (4) sft.
King of Dudes 7-2 (11-4) Chased leaders, pushed along before 3 out, mistake 3 out, weakened soon after, 4th of 9, 28l behind Angelot Du Berlais (10-12) at Ludlow 2m 4yo hdl (4) sft in Jan.
Swnymor (IRE) 11-4 (11-0) Held up in rear, headway approaching 3 out, challenged next, led when fell last, in a race won by Ruacana (11-0) at Chepstow 2m 4yo hdl Grade 1 (1) hvy in Jan, 8 ran.
Aazif (IRE) 7-1 (10-12) Mid-division, headway 4th, challenged 3 out, ridden and every chance before last, kept on and always held by winner, 2nd of 11, 6l behind Calculated Risk (10-12) at Doncaster 2m 4yo hdl (4) gs in Jan.
King Arthur (GER) 10-1 (10-12) Held up in rear, not always fluent, headway 3 out, soon ridden and weakened, 9th of 11, well behind Bordoni (10-12) at Market Rasen 2m 1f 4yo mdn hdl (4) sft.
