TULLIUS won a similar contest by over three lengths at Sandown in April. A couple of good efforts in Group 1 company have followed and he's taken to land this confirming latest running in the Queen Anne at Ascot with Producer and Mull Of Killough in the process. The latter and Guest Of Honour filled the placed in last year's renewal with Trumpet Major well beaten but Long John may prove a bigger threat. He won a Group 3 at Meydan in March and returns from a lay-off while Graphic finished ahead of Highland Knight at Epsom before winning in France last week and should also go well. Empire Storm, The Rectifier and Zambucca look up against it on today's terms.
Tullius (IRE) 11-1 (9-0) Held up in last pair, headway near side over 1f out, stayed on inside final furlong, not quite pace to challenge, 4th of 10, 2 1/2l behind Toronado (9-0) at Royal Ascot 1m Grp 1 (1) gd in Jun.
Baltic Knight (IRE) 7-1 (9-4) Held up in last trio, headway on outside 2f out, went 2nd and strong challenge inside final furlong, stayed on under pressure, always just held, 2nd of 10, nk behind Custom Cut (9-4) at Windsor 1m Listed stks (1) gs in Jun.
