In depth
Verdict
PATEGONIA was unfancied for his debut at Kempton and was slowly away before staying on to finish a modest fourth. Better is expected here and John Gosden's colt makes more appeal than The Black Jacobin, who looks no nearer to winning despite dropping down the weights in handicaps. Tanawar was a major disappointment over C&D last time and the newcomer Al Raqeeb is a bigger threat representing an in-form yard given he's a half-brother to seven winners.
