Verdict
Archina disappointed when strongly fancied at Yarmouth last time and is better judged on her earlier victories at Salisbury and Chepstow. Thrust Control hasn't won since last May but has dropped to a very lowly mark as a consequence, though his only all-weather victory came on Fibresand. He was touched off by Cross The Boss at Newcastle last month and the winner should confirm the form as that was only his third run for over a year. Connections of RASSELAS won't be too thrilled with a 7lb rise for his victory here last month but the five-year-old bounced back to form after a long spell in the wilderness and has won from much higher marks in the past so should complete the double.
