In depth
Verdict
Shangani was placed over fences at Auteuil in 2010 and his third to Hazy Tom at Warwick last time wasn't a bad effort. He should be prominent here but useful hurdler Viva Colonia showed little on his debut over the larger obstacles at Wetherby and Sydney Paget suffered a heavy fall at Kelso in October and may need his confidence restoring. Zaru should improve for his sixth at Doncaster, however, while Inoogoo has been highly tried so far and will appreciate the easier grade but the versatile Los Nadis is jumping fences late in life and has been well beaten over hurdles this term. RUDEMEISTER looks a real chasing type and, though he will almost certainly improve on whatever he achieves today, could be worth risking on his reappearance as most of his rivals have a bit to prove at present.
