Verdict
BRIAR HILL will be at short odds and owner Graham Wylie will be keen to recoup some of the £100,000 outlay at the Doncaster Sales after the five-year-old won between the flags at Necarne in May. In The Gate has shown very little in two bumper starts so Cyras Love, who has his first start in a bumper after a couple of reasonable efforts over timber, looks the main threat. Boondooma won a point at Lemonfield in March but was tailed off on his bumper debut at Fairyhouse while it's difficult to know what to make of the newcomer The Gotfor Man, whose dam was a winning sprinter in Italy.
