Britain's Cameron Norrie is into the last eight at the Los Cabos Open after beating eighth seed Feliciano Lopez 6-3 6-3.

The world number 74 booked an encounter against either Elias Ymer or Adrian Mannarino in just under an hour and 20 minutes in Mexico.

The 22-year-old went 3-0 up early in the first set and broke again for a 5-1 lead, but failed to clinch the set on his next service game as Lopez broke back.

After wrapping up the first set in nine games, Norrie did not drop his serve in the second set and won the match with his second consecutive break.
