Neil Robertson beat Jack Lisowski to win the first tour event of the new snooker season at the Riga Masters.

The former world champion fired a break of 117 en route to his 5-2 win which secured the 14th ranking title of his career.

Robertson is playing with a new cue for the first time in 20 years and his decision immediately paid off as he powered to a comfortable victory.

His century saw him sail into a 3-0 lead and although Lisowski reduced the deficit, the Australian did not look back.

Robertson's fine form had been evident in his semi-final earlier in the day, when he whitewashed Stuart Carrington 5-0.

Lisowski had impressed with a 5-1 win over Stephen Maguire, sealing the 27-year-old's place in his first ranking final of his career.
