Robertson, 32, from Bexhill-on-Sea, will play Joe Perry in his bid for a first professional title after overcoming Mark Allen in his first ranking event semi-final on Friday.
The world number 36 produced breaks of 82 and 132 in the seventh and eighth frames respectively to lead King 5-3 and after losing the next held his nerve in the 10th to seal victory.
