Australia international Luke Morahan has joined Bristol

Aviva Premiership strugglers Bristol have announced the signing of Australia international back Luke Morahan for next season.

The 26-year-old, who has won three caps, will offer Bristol options at full-back, wing and centre.

He was part of Australia's sevens squad that won a silver medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, while he has played Super Rugby for Queensland Reds and Western Force.

"Luke is an impressive player with excellent technical abilities," Bristol head coach Mark Tainton told the club's official website.

"He has got a lot of raw pace and versatility, and can play across the back-line."

Morahan featured for the Barbarians in a 31-31 draw against South Africa at Wembley last year, while he also featured in the Wallabies' November Test against France.
