Sale skipper Will Addison misses the trip to Allianz Park because of a hamstring injury, with Mike Haley returning at full-back and Sam James partnering Mark Jennings in midfield. Flanker Tom Curry, meanwhile, features alongside back-row colleagues Jono Ross and Josh Strauss as the Sharks seek a first Premiership away victory over Saracens since 2005.

Centre Johnny Williams has recovered from hamstring trouble to make a first start of the season, while there are also opportunities for wing Napolioni Nalaga, who makes a full debut, prop Petrus Du Plessis, plus flankers Josh McNally and Conor Gilsenan.

England and Northampton captain Dylan Hartley again misses out due to a hand injury, although Saints say he is "close" to full fitness. One change from the side that beat Bath last time out sees number eight Sam Dickinson replace Teimana Harrison, who has a shoulder injury, while fly-half Stephen Myler and flanker Tom Wood are among the travelling reserves after training fully this week.
