Hull FC prop Liam Watts has had a two-match ban halved on appeal.
Watts, charged with a grade B offence after being sent off against Castleford on Sunday for a high tackle on scrum-half Luke Gale, was on Tuesday handed a two-game ban.
However, he contested the severity of the suspension and it was reduced to one match by an independent operational rules tribunal on Wednesday.
Watts will miss Friday's home game against Warrington but will be available for the trip to Widnes on Sunday week.
