Forecasts

Elwateen (5/2), Arisaig (10/3), Never Let Go (7/2), Cajole (9/2), Protest (8/1), Francophone (9/1), Sunfall (10/1), Hey Boo (11/1), Troia (14/1), Orange Sky (25/1), Mojave River (33/1), Serving With Style (40/1), Bette Davis Eyes (50/1), Regal Charm (50/1)

Verdict

Though it wasn't the strongest of Group 2s in which ARISAIG was a close third at Goodwood, she deserves plenty of credit for finishing as close as she did given that the race wasn't run to suit (also left with too much to do) and a deserved success is on the cards. The soft ground was probably against Cajole at Sandown and, with a faster surface forecast here, she is feared most. Elwateen has to be taken very seriously now stepping away from Group 1 company and Protest is also shortlisted.

  1. ARISAIG
  2. CAJOLE
  3. ELWATEEN (IRE)
