Verdict

The Denis Hogan-trained SIR OTTOMAN can get back to winning ways here in a wide-open claimer to start proceedings. The six-year-old won over C&D in September before a couple of setbacks running off a revised mark last month. Winner at Ayr over a similar trip in July, Nigg Bay can emerge as the biggest danger while Wild Bob Cat for trainer Henry De Bromhead and C&D winner Master Speaker can compete for remaining prize money. If ridden a little closer to the pace in the early stages, the Joseph O'Brien-trained Syrena could go well.
  1. Sir Ottoman
  2. Nigg Bay
  3. Master Speaker
