An unappealing race for punting purposes, largely because it's essentially very tricky to nail the colours to a single mast. Both
Smeaton and
Francisco Bay have recent course experience (on heavy), although neither horse appeals as an obvious winner in waiting.
Beechwood Jude probably has the best single piece of form in the book yet isn't the most consistent, while both
Flint Hill (resolution) and
Robert L'Echelle (ground) are risky enough propositions. Therefore, that leaves us with
DEEBEE as the selection in the hope that he can recover from a couple of 'bumps in the road' now returned to much more testing conditions.
