It is hard to think of many novice hurdlers with SCARLET DRAGON's flat ability with only Triumph favourite King Erec coming to mind. Alan King's high class performer was second in a Grade Two last season and readily won at Huntingdon suggesting that he can take similarly high order over hurdles and he could even be an interesting dark horse for the Supreme at Cheltenham and for that to be possible he certainly should win this. Fellow previous winner Doctor Dex is the danger with Fransham best of the rest.
