A number of these mares are tackling handicap company for the first time, so could have more to offer. However, the horse who appeals the most is the Kevin Ryan trained filly CANNY STYLE. She strikes as the type of horse who wouldn't want conditions to be overly testing, so a visit to Doncaster in December would probably be her best available option. She lacks much in the way of size, but her battling qualities aren't in question, and she has been allocated a reasonable opening mark. Of the others, both Passing Call and Woolstone One are seemingly much of a muchness, and are quite possibly racing from high enough handicap marks for what they've actually achieved.
