Verdict

A very competitive handicap indeed but preference is for Alan King's WILLIAM H BONNEY. He ran a fine race in the ultra competitive Greatwood at Cheltenham first time out and the third that day has already boosted the form in a similarly competitive race. With the expected improvement here he will take some beating. There are no shortage of dangers here however. Chief among them are Jenkins who was well fancied in the Greatwood himself, the suspicion remains that he has a big handicap in him off this sort of mark and stablemate of the selection Fidux who was unfortunate last time when unseating.
  1. William H Bonney
  2. Jenkins
  3. Fidux
