Verdict

Earlier in the month at Galway LEAN AND KEEN finished just ahead of Bilko, and Sean Byrne's gelding is taken to confirm placings here. He fell at the first on chase debut but has learned plenty since and looks the type to go on to better things than races of this nature. His reopposing rival must be respected given his connections and the way he shaped on chase debut in May, while Coeur Joyeux can improve for the switch to fences.
  1. Lean And Keen
  2. Bilko
  3. Coeur Joyeux
