Verdict

A low draw and a run in the last few weeks have been requisite in winning the majority of recent renewals of this. It also helps to come from the Hannon stable so RITA'S MAN has a lot going for him before considering his outstanding run of form. A 4L success when winning in higher grade last time suggests he will be facing stiffer tasks in the future. His young rider is good value and more than compensates for the 6lb penalty. Call Me Grumpy was well supported for a similar race here two weeks ago before the meeting was abandoned. His yard's runners here always command respect whilst Alemaratalyoum may prove better than his last run would lead you to believe.
  1. Rita's Man
  2. Call Me Grumpy
  3. Alemaratalyoum
