Better than ever when scoring readily in 2024 renewal of this race and shaped as if on the way back to form when third in a 2m5f mares' listed hurdle here last month, rallying and finishing with running left. Solid claims off same mark as last year.

Landed back-to-back handicap hurdles at Chepstow/Cheltenham in the spring and finished creditable fifth in Silver Trophy (19.5f) at Chepstow on first hurdle start this season. Below form over fences since but not totally discounted if seeing out longer trip back over hurdles.

Thrived over hurdles last season, winning 4 times and now returns to smaller obstacles having pulled up on second start over fences at Hereford (25.2f) earlier this month. Looks a tough ask even if bouncing back in a change of headgear.

Has returned in fine heart this season, travelled well when making it a hat-trick of third place finishes in a 12-runner mares handicap at Ascot last time (1¼ lengths behind Star Walking), doing best of those who raced prominently. That was a career-best and she merits plenty of respect.

Runner-up in this race last year (1¼ lengths behind Della Casa Lunga) and seemingly as good as ever with cheekpieces refitted (retained) when second over C&D on reappearance last month, for all she had the run of the race. Should be competitive once again.

Ended promising novice season on a low note (reported to have wind problem) but right back on track following a breathing operation when runner-up at Ascot (23.6f) on return last month, travelled well in ideal position off pace. Entitled to be in the mix if she can build on that.

Useful stayer on Flat for Sir Mark Prescott and had been progressive for Lucy Wadham last season (runner-up in mares' listed at Doncaster) but bled when pulling up at Cheltenham on final start for yard. In excellent hands to get back on track following wind surgery (tongue tie replaces visor).

Ran well on first 2 starts of light campaign last season but pulled up at Ffos Las on final outing and finished well held on return at Ascot last month. That outing may have been needed but she'd need to be back to her best in first-time cheekpieces.

Ended last season with 2m4f novice wins at Wetherby/Warwick. Back to form returned to front running in first-time cheekpieces (retained) when clear second in a 2m5f handicap at Warwick last month. That form has taken a few knocks but she may have more to offer upped further in trip (dam stayed 3m).

Consistent novice (chased home Audacious Annie over 19f) who was keen under a conditional but still in contention when falling 2 out on reappearance/handicap debut here. 1 lb out of handicap but unexposed over 3m (bred to suit) and could do better if settling with Ben Jones back aboard.

Useful Flat performer MISS CYNTHIA is taken to get back on track over hurdles, making her first start for Dan Skelton following wind surgery. Star Walking could be the danger if building on a promising reappearance at Ascot, while Della Casa Lunga races off the same mark as when successful in the race last year and should be spot on for this. Of the rest, I'vemadeupmymind is unexposed over 3m and can be a threat to all if racing more efficiently.
