Play 4 To Win At Betway Handicap (Div 2)
Class 6 | 1m 2f | Standard / Slow | 8 Runners | Polytrack
Off time: 19:07 | Winning time: 2m 7.63s
Nine career wins though none of them at this far. Many years since he has been in this low a grade but hasn't been at best this season and not hard to look elsewhere.
Two C&D wins including when heavily backed and overcoming trouble in running in June. Narrowly beaten since at Bath by Derry Boy and a bold showing by that one in the 6-35 would be a pointer.
Building up a sound course record over further and does have some form at this shorter trip though taking on progressive types at their optimum trip so probably needs a personal best.
Form regressed with Mick Channon and and just never fired when with Chris Gordon. Lots to prove starting off for another yard but wind operation since last run so market watch advisable.
Back on track having failed to stay 1m6f on subsequent run when second to handicap good thing at Newmarket last time. That bare form puts her in with a big chance though did have the run of the race.
Improved first two runs this season but not quite in the same form at Chepstow last time. Now stepping up from 1m and it needs to bring about some improvement.
Has shown very little in four career runs all over just 7f though is bred to appreciate this much longer trip so no surprise if improving for it, though she does need to.
Big prices all runs and bit better last time when plugging on fifth over 1m in fillies handicap at Newmarket last month. Stepping up in trip again but others make more appeal.
Quemonda (7/4), Sea Of Marmoon (5/2), Good Time Charlie (11/2), Pax Britannica (15/2), King Athelstan (14/1), Azor Ahai (22/1), Corofin (25/1), Shyron (28/1), Dukes Meadow (33/1)
