Very useful chaser if you go back a couple of seasons but it's all gone south in more recent times, and he looked pretty reluctant at Haydock last time out; on a tempting mark but it needs a real leap of faith now.
Thorough stayer that ground it out to score at Plumpton last March; efforts since then a bit mixed, to say the least, but handles heavy ground and might be a bit happier going back right-handed; chances if that's the case.
Looked about ready to win again after his third in a competitive Cheltenham handicap in November but pulled up last time out; has a ready excuse though (bled) and with trip/ground no issue here, has chances of getting back on track.
Only had the three chase starts but successful when last seen out, although that was back in March of last year, which suggests he might have had an issue; potential for much better is there, but after absence, may be best watched today.
Giant of a chaser that's got a real hit-and-miss profile; looked useful when scoring at Haydock in December but never travelled with much enthusiasm at Newbury last time; blinkers now given a try, which could help, and he cannot be discounted.
Winner of the Sussex National at Plumpton in January but couldn't back that up from a 6lb higher mark there last time out, beaten at odds-on; ability is there for sure, but might not be one to trust with the mortgage.
Had plenty left in the tank when scoring here back in December and has turned in a couple of decent enough efforts since, then, although a little below par latest; back to scene of his win could raise his game again, so not discounted.
Was on the hunt for the hat-trick when unseating here last time out, still held every chance when doing do; this arguably a little less competitive too, and if handling this deep ground, should have a chance.
Ground to make up with Horatio Hornblower on their Ffos Las form from November but wins either side of that show he's an improving horse; up another 7lb for latest win and this is tougher, but handles heavy and less weight to carry than a few.
