Won twice last spring on good and good to soft ground over 2m7f and 3m respectively before struggling in a warmer contest. Tailed off on return and that his only prior race on heavy. Ground today the concern then but capable.
Already won twice this season including over C&D on a sound surface but disappointed on soft latest which was her first outing on such ground, Likely to be even more testing today so that the big worry.
Fontwell win in October his fourth over hurdles and first on soft ground. Another solid effort next at Taunton but held on heavy at Chepstow so one of many here who must prove they handle such conditions.
Smart novice who became frustrating in Ireland ran twice over 3m since joining this yard and neither suggested him overly well treated at present. Won on heavy and gets new headgear and a drop in trip.
Lightly raced with Gordon Elliott but did show ability in early 2018. Off the track for a long time after but ran well second time back at Wetherby before below par at Leicester. A bit to prove but still unexposed.
Off the mark on soft ground on his second start since leaving France when grinding it out at Sandown and won since at Kelso in a similar manner. Held since in a much hotter race at Cheltenham but should prove more effective today.
Won twice in early 2018 including a soft ground win here over 1m7½f. Set some very stiff tasks last season but more effective this term in lesser company until flop at Taunton latest. Capable of a bold bid if he settles over this longer trip.
Three-time course winner including twice in C&D hurdles. On a nine-race losing run now so signs he's slowing down of late but can't be ruled out at his favoured track and 14lb below last winning mark.
Ended last season with back-to-back wins over 2m3½f at Chepstow on good and good to soft. Handicapper seemed to have his measure this term and latest run on soft underwhelming.
Generally finishing tailed off on his latest bunch of starts and showed little progress when 12L fifth at Warwick (2m3f) in mid-November. Twice withdrawn since on heavy ground so negatives stacking up.
