Has snippets of form that suggest he can play a strong role if the step up in trip isn't an issue. The betting can guide as he was very ineffective on only previous run over 1m2f.
Went backwards after making a promising debut for Mark Johnston in October 2018; had two quick runs afterwards but not seen since and has switched yards in the intervening period. He's bred to be effective on the AW but the long absence a worry.
Cost 500,000 gns as a yearling but unraced for his former yard and went for just 23,00gns at Newmarket's July sales. The betting will have to guide on the four-year-old's belated racecourse bow.
Stablemate of Al Thoorayah but has the benefit of a couple of recent runs and looks the yard's main hope on jockey bookings. The gelding wasn't beaten far in either previous outing and has to be of interest now he's upped in trip; shortlisted.
Well held in both previous starts and plenty to prove on his first run beyond a mile; yard has also been quiet lately.
Shown ability in both previous starts and at least has experience of the trip; this is his debut run at this course but he's handled the Polytrack well enough at Lingfield to expect he can be thereabouts with an improved effort.
Debut run was a quiet introduction (finished behind the likes of Lep at Lingfield) but it's likely the gelding can go on from there. Needs to step things up and looks the type who might just need to find his level in handicaps later.
A Sea The Stars mare who created a very favourable impression in a tougher looking novice stakes when last seen. The winner of that race sets a decent standard but this filly was 7½L adrift of that rival at the line. Another to monitor closely.
Both previous runs were promising and it has to be a bonus that she's got previous C&D experience. Debuts for a new yard this evening but very possible there's more to come; a bold effort is not ruled out.
Finished tailed off on debut for another yard last August and concerning that she was put away again straight after. Her current yard does well with other's cast-offs but this filly needs a big step forward to figure.
