- Weatherbys General Stud Book Mares' Maiden Hurdle (Div 1) (Class 4)
- 2m 4f 145y, Soft (Good to Soft in places)
- 10 Runners
- Surface: Turf
Placed in a soft ground maiden point-to-point at Lisronagh in November and has shown ability in both starts under Rules so far. Beaten 33L when fourth at Warwick (2m5f, soft) last time out and is worth a check in the market in this event.
Failed to build on a promising third in a Warwick (2m, good) bumper on debut in November 2018 in two subsequent starts and is probably best watched following a heavy defeat on hurdles debut over 2m here last month.
Placed in a couple of bumpers last year but has finished held in two heavy ground starts over hurdles. Better ground forecast here should see her in a better light.
Decent effort to finish 11½L fourth in a 2m Listed bumper on good-to-soft ground here just over a month ago. Represents a good yard and is an interesting runner on her hurdles debut.
Struggled in three starts to date most recently in a conditions hurdle over an extended 2m at Newbury (soft) at the end of last month. Others make more appeal at present.
Point-to-point winner in Ireland in April 2017 but has had just three starts since and finished a well beaten 13th on Rules debut over an extended 2m3f in a novice hurdle at Chepstow (soft) last month.
Promising 25L seventh in a 2m5f novice hurdle at Ludlow (soft) on racecourse debut last month. Improvement likely and is worth a check in the market in this contest.
Point-to-point winner ran well when third in a 2m5f novice hurdle at Ludlow (good) on Rules debut in October. Decent 24L fifth over the same C&D on soft ground subsequently and is one to note in this race.
Failed to finish in two starts in point-to-point company last season including when running out at Bredwardine (3m, good) in May. Market support would be notable on Rules and stable debut.
Placed in a point-to-point and two hurdle races to date. Beaten just 5½L in a maiden hurdle over an extended 2m5f at Wincanton (good-to-soft) last time out and is one for the shortlist in this contest.
